Getting stuff sorted out

Today feels like the day for getting stuff sorted out!

I have arranged for HR to send me all the UIF papers for when I am on maternity leave. Now I just need to fill them in.

I am also in the process of looking around to try and find a mid-wife and an alternative birth option because I have a feeling that Dr H is going to try his utmost to convince me to have a Cesarean Section and I refuse to have that. If he does decide not to fight me on it then I'm worried that he's going to wait until I'm in labour and then give me some horror story as to why a c-section is needed and I'll have one anyway. I'm terrified of this happening so I'm keeping my options open.

I'm going to wait till our next appointment and then I'm going to do the hospital tour and start the ante-natal classes. After that I will have a better idea of what Dr H will expect and I'll make my final decision from there.

If I do get a mid-wife I will still go to Dr H until near the end because I really enjoy the scan pictures, it's also bonding time for your daddy and I don't want to sacrifice that for him.

We'll wait and see...
