Today we went to see a new doctor. Your daddy couldn’t get off work so I went with your granny instead.
We arrived there and the doctor asked about my history, etc and then told me to get on the bed so that he could do a scan. Imagine my amazement and excitement when I got to see that you have turned!!!!!!!! Finally your head is down!!!!! I am so relieved and now I am ready for you to arrive at any time!!! It was one of the greatest moments ever! Well done! I’m so proud of you!
The doctor checked and confirmed that you are in fact a girl. All the measurements show that you are right on track with your growth for your due date. We also got to see that you now weigh 1.774kgs! You seem to be on track to weigh about 3kgs when you are born.
I have gained another 0.5kgs.
I asked the doctor if I can have natural birth and he said that there is no reason not to! I’m very relieved about this because he really seems to be ok with his patients choosing this method! I have made another appointment with him for 7th September, thereafter it will be weekly appointments.
I’m so proud of you Courtney! I feel like a whole weight has been lifted off my shoulders now that I know you have turned!
